Based on the features of deposition,several sedimentary facies are recognized in Changxing Formation,including deep carbonate ramp,open platform,trough,shelf(platform) margin,and a sedimentary model was established for the Changxing Formation.

Through analyzing the drilling core from the study area, it is considered that the growing environment of organic reef is deposit of carbonate platform in shallow water, where the organic reef is not in zonal distribution without the property of edge reef, it belongs to point reef or patch reef.
前人研究认为晚二叠世长兴期生物礁主要为环陆棚边缘带发育的陆棚边缘礁;通过对研究区钻井岩心分析,认为生物礁发育环境应为浅水碳酸盐岩台地沉积,生物礁不呈带状分布,不具边缘礁的特点,属于台地内的点礁或斑礁。
