性质:俗称中油或黄油。稠厚的油脂状半固体。用于机械的摩擦部分,起润滑和密封作用。也用于金属表面,起填充空隙和防锈作用。主要由矿物油(或合成润滑油)和稠化剂调制而成。根据稠化剂可分为皂基脂和非皂基脂两类。皂基脂的稠化剂常用锂、钠、钙、铝、锌等金属皂,也用钾、钡、铅、锰等金属皂。非皂基脂的稠化剂用石墨、炭黑、石棉,根据用途可分为通用润滑脂和专用润滑脂和专用润滑脂两种,前者用于一般机械零件,后者用于拖拉机、铁道机车、船舶机械、石油钻井机械、阀门等。主要质量指标是滴点、针入度、灰分和水分等。用来评价润滑脂胶体稳定性的指标为分油试验、滚动轴承性能试验等。滚筒试验是测试滚压作用下稠度变化的试验方法。流动性试验是评价在低温下润滑脂可泵送性的试验方法。抗水淋性试验是评价润滑脂对水淋洗出的抵抗能力的试验方法。胶体安定性是润滑脂在贮存和使用中保持胶体稳定,液体矿油不从脂中析出的性能。机械安定性是表示润滑脂在机械工作条件下抵抗稠度变化的性能。滚珠轴承扭矩试验是评价润滑脂低温性能的一种试验方法。
