为Sjqvist(1938年)首先报道。在延髓切断三叉神经脊髓束以治疗三叉神经痛。其最大的优点是触觉不受影响,术后不致产生营养性角膜炎,食物不会残留颊部,不影响运动支。适用于:①双侧三叉神经痛;②疼痛对侧失明者;③伴有眼支疼痛者;④因癌肿影响到第Ⅴ、Ⅸ、Ⅹ对脑神经及中间神经者。
