The Shunyi earthquake swarm, the Yingxian and the Liangcheng earthquake swarms, and the Hunyuan earthquake swarm occurred in the place where Shanxi, Hebei Provinces and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region meet and respectively in December 1996, November 1997 and December1997, which might mean the coming Zhangbei earthquake.
在晋、冀、蒙三省交界地区 ,1996年 12月出现了顺义震群、 1997年 11月出现了应县、凉城震群、 1997年 12月出现了浑源震群 ,这种现象可能预示着张北地震的到来。

Through analysis to the gravity anomalies in Hebei and Henan measuring network before and after Fanxian earthquake we found: earthquakes occur in the increasing course of gravity field,and the values at each site have synchrony both in time and magnitude.
分析研究范县地震前后豫鲁测网的重力场与点值变化特征后发现:地震发生在重力场上升过程中,且地震震中位于重力等值线负值区到正值区的过渡带上,重力点值在时间上具有同步性,而震后重力场的下降有可能是新的异常。
