The paper recapitulates the new results from biostratigraphic study of Ordovician since 1959 in Xing an region of Northeast China and divides the Ordovician system into 7trilobite assemblages, 5 brachiopods assemblages as well as 6 graptolite beds and discusses the rules of biostratigraphic correlation.
