In cord- ing to the characteristic of the signal, we have introduced how to select the wavelet base, decomposed the useful signal by the rule of Shannon, and computed the Wavelet Packet energy to construct the eigenvector.

衡量地理空间、地理过程、地理系统等的有序程度或宏观状态的一个函数。借用热力学第二定律有关熵的基本概念，结合地理系统的实际状况，经改换后平移到地理学中。1962年，利奥波德（l.b.leopold）等首次提出地形学变量与热力学变量之间的相似，将地表高度模拟物体温度，将地理质量模拟物体热量，从而建立了“地形熵”。之后，沙伊德格尔（a.e.scheidegger）等于1966年又提出“最小地理熵”的概念；威尔逊（a.g. wilson）于城市地理的研究中，提出“熵最大模型”。以后，对于地理熵的研讨更趋广泛，企图使它成为衡量地理整体特性的一个统一指标，以便判断地理系统的结构或过程在统一基础上的可比性。与此同时，又把地理熵与地理信息的关系，从本质上和数学定量上统一起来。
