倒易律失效(Reciprocity law failure)指不符合倒易律的规律而失效的现象。
对于附属于照相机的快门速度范围（大约1秒—1/1000秒），曝光虽是与快门速度成比例的，但曝光时间极度延长（或缩短），这种关系就失去比例，变成曝光不足，称此为倒易律失效。对黑白胶片，若是10秒以上，曝光时间改为2倍或2倍以上。至于彩色摄影，这个影响更大，职业用胶片分为S型或L型。然而，在实际使用方面，在1秒-1/1000秒之间，无须过多担心。
