浙江省新兴城镇，新安江风景区游览点之一。位于建德县中部，濒临新安江。原为小山村，随新安江水库建成发展为城镇。1961年县府由梅城镇迁此,人口4.7万。全镇依山滨水，市容整洁，风景绚丽。盛夏季节，气候凉爽。镇西6公里处的紫金滩为新安江电厂，是中国第1座自建大型水力发电站，装机容量66.3万千瓦；镇东为工业区；镇南横跨新安江的白沙大桥，为具有民族风格的大型石拱桥，是浙西重要通道。铁路有金(华)岭(后)线与浙赣线相接；公路直达杭州，衢州、金华等地，是新安江地区联络浙北、浙南及闽、赣诸省要道。镇西南30公里有灵栖、清风、霭云等石灰岩溶洞，是新安江风景区的组成部分。
