huanjing ehuo环境恶化(environmental de罗neration)环境质量下降与环境功能衰退，使环境朝着不利于人类生存和社会经济发展的方向变化的现象。按形成原因，分为自然恶化和人为恶化。主要是人类的环境意识薄弱，没有认识到人与环境相互依存的关系，特别是当世界人口增长速度过快时，因人口压力而过度地向环境索取资源，给环境造成巨大的压力和破坏。主要表现在3个方面:①不适当地扩大干预自然的规模和强度，如滥砍森林带来严重的水土流失、旱涝灾害，并导致局部乃至全球性的气候异常;不合理地开垦草原形成大面积的土地沙化与荒漠化;无限制地围湖围海造田，引起水生生态系统的变化和破坏。②工业生产中没有充分合理利用自然资源，形成了大量废水、废气(参见彩图插页等2页)、废渣，不加处理地排向环 工厂的污水使 河里的鱼无法 生存 (罗锡鹏供稿)境，造成严重的大气、水体与土壤污染;不合理地大规模采矿，造成严重的资源浪费、土地损失和环境污染。③农业生产中大量化肥、农药等化学物质的使用，造成严重的水体与土壤污染，使土壤的理化性能变劣。大型水利工程建设缺少应有的生物措施，任意改变水系状况，不仅良田丧失，土地锐减，而且形成大量的低洼易涝地区。环境恶化已严重危及人类的健康和生存，至今这一恶化趋势在世界上大多数国家尚未能有效地加以控制。只有当人类社会发展到具有高度环境意识觉悟，充分认识到人类活动模式应当发生根本改变，科学技术不是用于向大自然“宣战”，而是用于协调人与环境关系的时候，人类才能制止环境的恶化。(卞有生)
