色木 材性和用途与桦木略同。材色较桦木略深，为浅肉红色。材质优于桦木，花纹也更明晰。木材锯解、切削稍难，但车旋、钻孔容易。胶接不易，干燥常有开裂，但反翘不甚严重。在家具制造中成材多用于拉手、腿脚等，色木也是乐器用材，经过染色也可以代替红木用于乐器制造，还可作模具用材、纺织用材等。
