植物形态：多年生草本，高可达40厘米，根细长，茎直立或匍匐，细长丛生，下部被疏毛，上部稍光滑。叶互生，基生叶较密，近似丛生，叶片倒披针形或线状披针形，长1~3厘米，宽0.2~0.4厘米，无柄，基部稍窄，先端短尖，边缘微波状，疏生钝齿。花兰色，顶生二歧花序，花梗长，花萼5枚，花冠5裂，漏斗状钟形，裂片椭圆形，雄蕊5枚，子房下位，3室。蒴果，倒圆锥状，有宿萼基部狭窄成果柄，顶裂。 生态分布：产我国长江流域以南至西南各省。 药用部分：秋后采其根入药。 用途：性味甘，微寒，无毒。补脾胃，益肺肾，祛痰，杀虫，止血。用量：5钱~1两。
