性质:是一类分布很广的深成酸性火成岩。各种含二氧化硅在65%~78%的花岗岩、花岗闪长岩、石英闪长岩、石英二长岩、石英正长岩的总称。一般以含石英和具花岗岩外貌为其特征。其成因既有由岩浆形成的,也有由花岗岩化变质作用形成的。与花岗岩类有关的矿产很多,如钨、锡、铍、铌、钽、稀有元素、稀土元素、铀、钍、金、银、铅、锌、铜、钼、汞、锑、铁等。花岗岩类因其结构均匀,质地坚实,是一种优质的建筑石料及装饰材料。
