We discusses the necessity of comprehensive efficiency evaluation in a hospital,the present situation,the advantages and disadvantages of the usual evaluating methods,the setting up of the evaluating system and the problems in selecting the evaluating methods.

In this paper, life cycle cost and comprehensive efficiency are analysed by themodern equipment management theory.

According to the essential feature,the ecological agriculture comprehensive efficiency can be divided into three parts,ecological efficiency,economic efficiency,social efficiency.

The results showed that the optimum synthetical effect of peeling off skins of water chestnut and extracting red pigment from the skin was obtained when the temperature was 80℃, the concentration of NaOH was 2mol/L, the time for peeling off skins was 20min, and the time for extracting red pigment was 75min.
