植物形态：小灌木，高1米余。茎下端有棱角。叶互生，三出复叶，顶端小叶椭圆状菱形，基部楔形，先端短尖或钝圆，两侧小叶为斜长椭圆形，长4~9厘米，宽1.5~3.5厘米，表面光滑，无毛，背面叶腋疏被柔毛，全缘，叶柄长2~6厘米，托叶线形，细小。花粉红色，蝶形，顶生总状花序，花梗很短，花萼筒状，5裂，旗瓣阔圆形，雄蕊10枚，单体。荚果2节，波状弯曲，被钩毛，易粘着人衣服。 生态分布：产我国中部、南部及西南部各省。多生于山坡林缘，灌丛中，路边草丛及荒山草地中。 药用部分：全草或根入药，夏秋采收。 用途：同小槐花。能去瘀止血，消肿止痛。治崩中带下，跌打损伤，风湿关节炎，风湿腰痛，毒蛇咬伤。用量：全草3~5钱。
