【性状】
本品为无色澄明液体；无臭或有类似臭氧的臭气；遇氧化物或还原物即 迅速分解并发生泡沫，遇光易变质。
【鉴别】
(1) 取本品0.1ml ，加水10ml和稀硫酸1 滴，再加乙醚2ml 及重铬酸钾 试液数滴，振摇，乙醚层即显蓝色。 (2) 取本品，加氢氧化钠试液使成碱性后，加热，即分解，发生泡沸并释放出氧。
【检查】
酸度 取本品5ml ，加水稀释至50ml，再加酚酞指示液数滴与氢氧化钠 液滴定(0.1mol/L)0.5ml ，应显淡红色。 钡盐 取本品10ml，加稀硫酸2 滴，10分钟内不得发生浑浊。 不挥发物 取本品10ml，置水浴上蒸干，并在105 ℃干燥至恒重，遗留残渣不得过 15mg。
【含量测定】
取本品1ml,精密称定，置100ml 量瓶中，加水稀释至刻度，摇匀； 精密量取10ml，置锥形瓶中，加稀硫酸20ml，用高锰酸钾滴定液(0.02mol/L) 滴定。每 1ml高锰酸钾滴定液(0.02mol/L) 相当于1.701mg 的H2O2。
