| 密穗小麦(club wheat) 小麦属六倍体种之一，学名Triticum compactum Host.染色体数2n=6x=42，染色体组型为AABBDD。穗短而宽，侧面宽于正面，呈椭圆形或棍棒形，穗长约为宽的两倍半，小穗排列极密，小穗密度D=50左右。籽粒多属软质，蛋白质含量较低，面粉适于制作饼干等食品。 中国的甘肃、云南、新疆、山西、陕西、贵州、四川、浙江、青海、西藏等省(自治区)均有种植，其中甘肃和云南较多。 护颖短于或等于外颖，颖脊仅上部明显，有毛或无毛。外颖有长芒、短芒或无芒。小穗着生与穗轴成直角。籽粒短圆形。有冬性、弱冬性和春性等类型。适于山地种植。中国河西走廊的密穗小麦品种耐大气干旱。多数品种易染锈病和白粉病等。但也有个别品种抗真菌病害，特别是抗腥黑穗病。 |
