| 光电测距 photocon distance measuring 采用可见光或红外光作为载波，通过测定光线在测线两端点间往返的传播时间(t)，算出距离（D）。计算公式为：D＝  ct，式中，c为光波在大气中的传播速度，它可以根据观测时的气象条件来确定。测定t的方法有：①直接测定光脉冲在测线上往返传播时间的仪器，称为脉冲式光电测距仪。②通过测量调制光在测线上往返传播所产生的相位移，间接测定时间的仪器，称为相位式光电测距仪。光电测距种类很多，以激光为载波的称激光测距仪，以红外光为载波的称红外测距仪。
