基性岩 basic rock 火成岩的一类。二氧化硅含量较低,为45%~52%。主要由辉石、基性斜长石组成,不含石英或含量极少。深灰色,比重较大 。常见的基性深成岩为辉长岩,浅成岩为辉绿岩,喷出岩为玄武岩。其中深成岩和浅成岩常成岩株、岩盆、岩床、岩脉等小侵入体产出,喷出岩常形成较大的岩流和岩被。铁、钛、铜、镍等金属矿产在成因上往往与之有关。质地均匀、无裂隙的新鲜岩石可作石材,细粒、色深者尤佳。 |
