According to the analysis of grain-size, foraminifera, spore-pollen, and 14C dating for two drill cores from submerged forest area in the tide-zone of Shenhu bay, Fujian province, we reconstructed the history of the natural enviroment evolution during the Holocene in the area, and the history of the paleoforest for both growth and being covered.
