【植物形态】
窿缘桉，又名：小叶桉、风吹柳。 乔木。树皮灰褐色，粗糙而有裂纹，常呈片状脱落。叶狭披针形，长8～15厘米，有时更长，稍呈镰状而渐尖，下部的常卵形，稍厚，侧脉多数，边脉稍离叶缘。伞形花序腋生或侧生，有花3～8朵；萼筒半球形，宽约4毫米，帽状体半球形或圆锥状，长约为萼筒的3～4倍，渐尖；雄蕊多数，长约6毫米或更长，花药卵形。蒴果近球形，直径6～8毫米，果缘阔而高，突起，几成圆锥状，果瓣突出。花期秋、冬。 广西、广东有栽培。
【采集】
秋季晴天采叶，阴干。
【药材】
干燥叶片呈镰刀状披针形，表面灰绿色，散有赤褐色或暗褐色的木栓斑点，主脉干缩成一条沟槽。叶柄棕褐色，多扭转。革质，质脆易折碎。 产广西、广东等地。
【性味】
味辛苦。
【功用主治】
煎水洗风湿及皮肤病，并作引亦防腐药。
