Using numerical solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation,we show that the ef-fect of third-order dispersion on the stable soliton propagation of dark pulse can be significantly sup-pressed if third-order dispersion of the fiber is periodically alternated between the normal and anoma-lous regimes.
