Datong Coal Basin
大同煤田(Datong Coal Basin)中国著名煤田。位于晋北大同市西南约ZOkm，有铁路通大同，与京包、同蒲、大秦线相连。上部为侏罗纪煤系，含煤面积772km2;下部为石炭二叠纪煤系，含煤面积1 738kmz，含煤总面积1 827kmz。现开发煤田北部。侏罗纪煤系含煤15组22层，可采14层，总厚22.sm;石炭二叠纪煤系上部山西组含煤5层，总厚6.sm，下部10层，平均总厚ZOm。煤田保有储量340亿t，其中侏罗纪60亿t。大同煤田开发较早，日伪时期在口泉沟建了6个矿井，云岗沟有民族资本开办的晋华公煤矿，1950年煤矿产煤量47万t。中华人民共和国成立后，在恢复老矿并进行多次改扩建的同时，不断建设新矿。1991年，大同矿务局已有15个生产矿井，生产原煤3001万t，居全国首位，全矿区包括地方煤矿和其他部门办的煤矿的总产量超过5000万t。 大同侏罗纪的低灰、低硫优质动力煤驰名国内外，主要供京津、华东及沿海省市并出口。石炭二叠纪煤为气煤，灰份较高，预计2000年后开始开采。 (贾勤修)
