| 白帝城 位于中国四川省奉节县城东4千米，扼瞿塘峡（见长江三峡）西口的长江北岸。相传为西汉末年的公孙述据蜀为王时所建。城垣遗址至今仍然依稀可见。三国时，刘备伐吴失败后，退守白帝城，临终时在此托孤诸葛亮。白帝城一面靠山，三面环水，雄伟壮丽，古今以来吸引无数文人墨客来此游览，写下大量脍炙人口的诗文。白帝城主要古建筑为白帝庙。殿中塑有刘备、诸葛亮等像，并存有许多隋以后的石碑。中华人民共和国建立后建有文物陈列室，陈列有附近出土的文物几百件。 |
