描述CentrostemmaDecne.蜂出巢属，萝藦科，约5种，分布于亚洲东南部，我国有蜂出巢C.multiflorum（Bl.）Decne.1种，产广东和广西，为一美丽的观赏植物.灌木，茎直立；叶对生，革质，长椭圆形；花10朵以上，排成顶生、具短柄的伞形花序，花柄纤细；花萼裂片内面基部有腺体；花冠管阔，裂片近膜质，花后外弯，花冠喉部具长硬毛；副花冠裂片5，着生于合蕊冠的背部，基部延生角状长距，呈星状射出；雄蕊柱粗厚；花粉块每室1个，直立；雌蕊由2个离生心皮组成；蓇葖通常单生；种子顶端具白色绢质种毛。
