描述CyathostemmaGriff.杯冠木属，番荔枝科，8种，分布于越南、泰国至印度尼西亚，我国有杯冠木C.yunnanensisHu1种，产云南。攀援灌木；花两性或单性，近球形，排成多分枝、下垂的聚伞花序，常生于茎上或老枝上；萼片3，基部合生；花瓣6，2列，内弯，内列的较小，顶部覆瓦状排列；花托平坦；雄蕊多数，线形，药隔凸起而内弯；心皮多数，有2列的胚珠多颗，成熟时肿胀。
