From August 8 to September 4,2005,typhoon Talim killed and disappeared 159 residents and caused a property loss of 15460 million RMB yuan in Fujian,Zhejiang,Jiangxi,Anhui,Hubei,Hounan provinces.

The influence of the 13th typhoon Talim in 2005 on Anhui province and the causes are described in this paper.

Analyze of Typhoon Rainstorm on the Mesoscale Characteristic;

It shows that the typhoon depression lasted for five days on land was because of a strong and wide convergence zone between two high pressures,together with the strengthening of southwesterly jet and its movement direction determined by the maximum wind speed by the subtropical high and the southwesterly.

The mechanism of the Billis typhoon low with extensive precipitation in Guangxi during 16～19th July 2006 are studied using the meso-scale numerical simulation model WRF and some NCEP reanalysis data of 1°×1° with 6h interval.

The heavy torrential rain which happened in Northern China during August 3￣5 in 1996 was the result of the stationary meso α cloud cluster within the typhoon low outside lane.
