形态特征:报春花科报春花属多年生草本植物。根状茎粗短。叶丛高7-30厘米 叶片长圆形或倒披针形，顶端钝圆或有时稍锐尖，边缘具锯齿。6月开花，花葶稍粗壮，高15-90厘米，顶端被黄粉;伞形花序通常1轮，2至多朵花，花梗长1-6厘米，被黄粉;花萼钟状,长7-10毫米，裂片披针形;花冠黄色，长1.5-2.5厘米，冠檐直径1.5-3厘米。蒴果长圆状。
生境分布: 生于海拔3200-4400米的林缘湿地、沼泽草甸和水沟边。分布于四川、云南、西藏。尼泊尔、锡金、不丹也有。
用途:藏族民间用全草作止泻药。
