描述TenagocharisHochst.拟花蔺属,花蔺科,只有拟花蔺T.latifoliaBuchenau1种,分布于北非经热带亚洲至大洋洲,我国只见于云南南部,喜生于沼泽地带。半水生或沼生、一年生草本,有乳状液汁;叶全部基生,具柄,椭圆形或椭圆状披针形,3-7脉;叶柄基部鞘状;花两性,具长柄,排成顶生、单生的伞形花序;苞片短,佛焰苞状;花被片6,2列,覆瓦状排列,外面3片膜质,有网脉,内面3片较大,花瓣状,极薄而透明,早萎;雄蕊8-9,下位,花丝膜质,基部扩大;心皮6-9,轮生,无柄,腹面基部合生,花柱短;胚珠极多数,微小,着生于侧膜胎座上;成熟心皮6-7,基部稍粘合,且与平坦的花托合生,有短喙,沿腹缝开裂;种子极多数,压扁。
