In accordance with macro sea-environment, mineral types, forming stages and actions, and shapes of micro-landform, the coastal and offshore placer deposits in Shandong can be classified into two supertypes, namely littoral zone placer deposit and shallow-sea placer deposit; 13 types including construction sand of littoral zone, quartz sand of littoral zone,zircon sand of shallow-sea etc.

大陆架砂矿床开采

daluJ一a shokuangChua叩kaiea*大陆架砂矿床开采(Continen-tal shelf plaeer mining)采用海洋挖掘船，在大陆架砂矿床规划开采范围内进行采选作业。大陆架是陆地向海自然延伸的部分，其范围自低潮线至海底坡度急剧增大处，即与大陆斜坡的分界线，转折点水深一般为200m，平均水深为13om。根据所用挖掘船的不同分为六种开采方式(见图):(l)链斗式挖掘船开采。用链斗在水下挖取原矿，由无极链提升上船;印度尼西亚和泰国用于开采砂锡矿。(2)绞吸式挖掘船开采。用绞刀在海底将原矿松动并导入吸管，由砂泵吸取和扬送上船;美国和冰岛用于开采海底贝壳。(3)抓斗式挖掘船开采。用抓斗在海底抓取原矿，由钢绳提升上船;日本用于开采海底砂铁矿。(4)气升式挖掘船开采。在吸管的适当部位导人压气后，管里产生吸力和提升力，将松散的原矿吸人和提升上船;西南非洲用于开采金刚石砂矿。(劝仓式挖掘船开采。在潜人水中的密封仓内安装有砂泵.砂泵的吸管接触海底，输浆管和挖掘船相连，砂泵起动后将原矿吸人并扬送上船;英国用于开采砂砾。(6)绳斗挖掘船开采。在船上用钢绳拖曳铲斗于海底收集物料，然后提升上船。 大陆架矿床大规模开采始于20世纪初，特别是自7()年代以来有了较快发展，全世界有70多艘挖掘船在大陆架进行采矿作业，开采锡砂、金刚石、金、铁砂、石灰砂和砂砾。1974年采出矿砂1.2一1.3亿t，其产值占全世界矿物开采总值的2环。这些挖掘船最大挖深为6()m。
