性质:棕褐色粉状物。溶于水呈深红棕色溶液,溶于乙醇呈棕红色,溶于溶纤素为红棕色,微溶于丙酮,不溶于其他有机溶剂,遇浓硫酸中呈紫色,稀释后呈淡红色棕色沉淀;遇浓硝酸呈橙棕色。其水溶液加浓盐酸呈深棕色,加浓氢氧化内液呈橙棕色。对纤维素纤维染色,染料吸尽性较好,温度在60-80℃亲合力最大。拔染性好,染后用硫酸铜处理,可提高其染色坚牢度。
