| 长蠹科 Bostrychidae；false powder；post beetle 鞘翅目长蠹总科的一科。通称长蠹。记载有400种，分布世界各地。中国已知有10余种。除寒带外，各地都有分布，大多数种类在高温高湿地区。可依靠木材、竹材、贮粮的运输传播他处。体小到大型，长圆筒形，黑色，浅褐至深褐色。触角短，8～10节。前胸背板前半部有小齿和棘状突起。腹板5节。足短。 该科虫种1年发生1代至数代，因地区而异。成虫侵入木材与长轴平行，或沿年轮穿孔。在端处产卵，孵化后的幼虫向各个方向穿孔，在终端处化蛹，羽化后穿孔外出另觅寄主。该科昆虫为已枯木材、竹材、贮粮的重要害虫，也是建筑用和家具用的木、竹材的重要害虫，少数为害活树的枝干。中国淮河以南地区的谷蠹是仓储稻谷的大害虫，并钻蛀木板 ，为害小麦、书籍的封面等。竹蠹是竹材与竹器的重要害虫 ，亦为害藤器、木材、谷物和薯干。电缆长蠹属种类能咬坏电缆的铅皮。 |
