| 鳖 Trionyx sinensis 龟鳖目鳖科鳖属的一种。又称团鱼、甲鱼、水鱼。中国大部省、区有分布。体长一般20～40厘米。体盘椭圆形，体表有柔软的皮肤。吻长，形成吻突。背部散有纵行排列的小疣，边缘为厚而柔软的结缔组织，称“裙边”。背橄榄或棕灰色，有黑斑。腹面黄白色，有浅绿色斑。颈长。四肢较扁，指、趾间蹼发达，具 3爪。头与颈可完全缩入甲内。 生活于底质为泥沙的江河、湖泊、池塘、水库和较大的山溪中，行动迅速，受惊时能迅速遁入水底泥沙中。夜间活动，白天常出水晒太阳。杂食性。卵生，每年春季于水中交配，5 ～ 8月产卵。卵产于泥沙松软、背风向阳、有遮蔽的穴中。每次产卵2～30枚不等。每年产卵 3 ～ 5次。卵白色，球形，约2个月孵化。幼体甲长3厘米，腹红，有黑斑。冬眠期10～11月至翌年 3月，群栖于沙泥底。经济价值高，肉和“裙边”味鲜美，为滋补品。背甲入药，有滋阴清热、软坚散结的功效。
