This paper analyzes several common problems existing in the use of the quantities and units in geologic journal with examples, and points out that implementing the national standard of the quantities and units by geologic journal is beneficial to not only the domestic and foreign academic exchange but also to Chinese sci-tech periodicals’ going to the world.
