| 巴士海峡 Bashi Channel 位于中国台湾岛和菲律宾吕宋岛之间。宽度约370千米，其间被巴坦群岛和巴布延群岛分隔成巴士海峡、巴林塘海峡和巴布延海峡3条水道，通常把这3 条海峡统称为巴士海峡。其中巴士海峡最宽(100多千米)、最深(2000～5000米)，在国际航运中最重要。巴士海峡处于太平洋西部岛弧-海沟交汇带，成为南海和太平洋的天然分界线。属热带季风气候，季节交替比较明显 ，1月平均气温18～24℃ ，7月平均气温28℃。年降水量2000毫米，集中在6～9月。巴士海峡是黑潮暖流流入南海和台湾海峡的重要通道，而暖流的流速和温度受季风影响而有季节变化。春、夏、秋三季，不同深层都出现与表层流相反的海流。海峡经常有热带风暴通过，给海峡和周围地区的航道、渔业以及农业、建筑物等造成巨大影响。 |
