衰老性记忆下降(aging memory deeline)老年人的记忆随年龄的增长而逐渐手’降的现象。老年人由于接受外界信息慢，知觉广度狭窄，在短时间内不能全部记录与成年人相同数量的信息。国外有采用词汇表测验老年人的短时记忆，发现老年人记到4~5个时能力明显下降，而一般人的短时记忆广度是5一9个老年人的初级记忆轻度下降，而次级记忆却下降很多，这主要是因为老年人对传入的信息不能做正确及时的取舍，不能将需要重新组合的复杂材料系统化、组_织化，所以表现为回忆速度慢，不准确，逻辑性差。干扰对老年人比年轻人更具有破坏J胜。老年人对过去己经记住的较为久远的事和对自己具有重大意义的事仍保持较好的记忆。在实际生活中，老年人表现出比在实验室中更好的记忆力，他们可以设计记忆方法，还可用经验来弥补不足。 (娜瑞援撰林索德审)
