Based on the multiple-term horizontal velocity solutions of 230 GPS monitoring sites in Tianshan and its adjacent region, the GPS site velocity fields and crustal horizontal strain fields in the area have been obtained.
以天山及邻近地区的230个GPS观测站长期水平运动速率为基础,计算并绘制了该地区GPS站速度场及地壳水平应变场分布图,得到了以下结论:在以欧亚板块为参考基准的背景下,天山及邻近地区GPS速度场表明,天山地壳缩短方式由南向北,以东经77°±1°(北纬38°～42°)为界向两侧逐渐递减;同时表明,板块的推挤作用力随着天山的褶皱变形减小相应趋缓。

台湾地区日军。1895年中日甲午战争后，日本侵占了台湾地区，后建立起日本台湾总督府和日本台湾军。日本总督多兼台湾军司令官，曾任总督的有桦日资纪、桂太郎、乃木希典、儿玉源太郎、佐久间左马太、安东贞美、明石元二郎、长谷川清、安藤利吉等。其台湾军的规模约有1个步兵独立混成旅团，用以镇压台湾人民的反抗，维持其殖民统治。1937年中国抗日战争爆发后，日军台湾军曾抽调兵力参加侵华战争，如进攻武汉的波田支队和1939年底在钦州湾登陆的盐田旅团就是日军台湾军的部队。1942年后随着日本各条战线局势的恶化，日军在台湾地区也大肆扩充军队，至1945年组成由日军大本营直接指挥的由安藤利吉中将任司令官的第十方面军，共约19万人，负责台湾地区防务。至1945年10月25日，日本台湾军司令官率部在台北向中国接收台湾的台湾省行政长官公署长官兼警备总司令陈仪将军投降，被日本帝国主义霸占50年之久的台湾宝岛才归还给中国政府管辖．
