By examining seed number of per flower,plant height,yield of per plant,1 000-grain weight and oil content of self-bred progenies of Qinghai Dahuang rape,inbreeding depression of the variety was investigated.

An interspecific hybrid of upland cotton,Suza 16,was selected as study materials to measure the heterosis and inbreeding depression of 14 traits of Suza 16 F_1 and F_2 in 1997～1998 successively.
