In order to improve small-aged Simon poplar tree at large area in north of Shanxi,we studied a new regeneration model that a scion or two scions grafting on remaining stump,then covered grafted union with wet soil(10 cm～20 cm above ground).
雁北风沙区有大面积的小叶杨"小老树",为了更新小叶杨"小老树"进行了单株嫁接和双株嫁接、湿土堆埋10 cm和20 cm的改造试验,提出了新的模式,即以杨树良种"中金杨"为换代品种,采用伐桩嫁接技术,通过双株嫁接和堆埋湿土20 cm等易于操作的更新和管理措施,嫁接更新改造成活率达到96%,成活植株产生自生根系,生长正常,更新成本是植苗造林更新的1/3,具有推广意义。
