代替部分肾脏功能的体外血液透析装置,是肾脏移植准备时的重要医疗器械。人工肾脏包括透析器、透析液供给装置和自动监视系统三个部分。透析器是人工肾脏的主要部分,可分平板型、蟠管型和中空纤维型三种。由于中空纤维型透析器的透析效率比标准平板型和蟠管型高,而且体积、血液预充量、残血量都小,能避免交叉感染,预消毒方??,从20世纪70年代开始已广泛应用于临床。中空纤维型人工肾脏透析器通常由 8000~10000根外径为200~300微米、壁厚为20~40微米的中空纤维封装组成,透析面积为1~1.2米2。血液导入中空纤维后再流回人体,透析液经温控系统调节温度后进入透析器,患者血液中的尿素和肌肝等代谢废物透过中空纤维膜被透析液带出体外,血液流量一般为200毫升/分左右,透析时间为5~7小时。制做人工肾脏透析器的中空纤维材料有铜铵纤维素、醋酯纤维素、聚丙烯腈、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚乙烯醇等,常用的是铜铵纤维素。
