      一种测量底片上天体光度的仪器,用来确定恒星的星等。现代快速天文底片颗粒较粗,使星像、边界模糊,从而造成星像直径与星等的关系不明确,不能用来精确测定星等。为了可靠地确定恒星星等,设计了光瞳光度计,附图示出其中一种结构:均匀照亮的可变光阑(光瞳)成像在底片上,移动底片,使光瞳像对准待测星像,透过的光束射往光电倍增管。从照明光源分出一束光作为基准,利用开有圆弧槽的旋转调制盘,使基准光和测量光轮流进入光电倍增管。改变光阑孔径,直到输出光电流中的交变成分消失,两束光便达到平衡,记下光阑孔径的读数,利用已精确测定星等的标准星所制定的定标曲线,便可将读数转换成星等。
