【性状】
本品为白色片。
【鉴别】
取本品的细粉适量（约相当于青蒿琥酯0.1g），加氯仿2ml 使青蒿琥酯 溶解，滤过，滤液照下述方法试验。 (1) 取滤液2～3滴，置白瓷板上，待氯仿挥发后，加2 ％香草醛硫酸溶液1 滴，显 红色。 (2) 取滤液4 ～5 滴，氯仿挥发后，加含7 ％盐酸羟胺的80％乙醇溶液1ml ，再加 乙醇制氢氧化钾试液3ml ，置水浴中加热至沸，放冷，加稀盐酸至呈酸性，再加三氯化 铁试液1 滴，即显紫红色。
【检查】
溶出度 取本品，照溶出度测定法（附录Ⅹ D第二法），以水1000ml为 溶剂，转速为每分钟100 转，依法操作，经30分钟时，取溶液适量，经滤膜滤过，精密 量取滤液20ml，置25ml量瓶中，加1mol/L氢氧化钠溶液2.5ml,加水稀释至刻度，摇匀， 作为供试品溶液。另精密称取青蒿琥酯对照品10mg，置250ml 量瓶中，加水200ml 及1m ol/L氢氧化钠溶液25ml，加水稀释至刻度，摇匀，作为对照品溶液。取供试品溶液与对 照品溶液置50℃±1℃水浴中保温45分钟，迅速冷却至室温，照分光光度法（附录Ⅳ A ），在289nm 波长处测定吸收度，计算出每片的溶出量。限度为标示量的60％，应符合 规定。 有关物质 取本品的细粉适量，加氯仿制成每1ml 中含青蒿琥酯5mg 的溶液，静置， 作为供试品溶液；另取二氢青蒿素对照品，加氯仿制成每1ml 中含0.1mg 的溶液，作为 对照品溶液。照薄层色谱法（附录Ⅴ B）试验，吸取上述两种溶液各10μl ，分别点于 同一硅胶Ｇ薄层板上，以石油醚（60～90℃）－醋酸乙酯－冰醋酸(48:36:1) 为展开剂， 展开后，晾干，喷以2 ％香草醛硫酸溶液，供试品如显杂质斑点，与对照品溶液的主斑 点比较，不得更深。 其他 应符合片剂项下有关的各项规定（附录Ⅰ A）。
【含量测定】
取本品20片，精密称定，研细，精密称取适量（约相当于青蒿琥酯 0.5g），置200ml 锥形瓶中，精密加中性乙醇（对酚酞指示液显中性）50ml，振摇，使 青蒿琥酯溶解后，滤过，弃去初滤液约10ml，精密量取续滤液25ml，置100ml 锥形瓶中， 加酚酞指示液2 滴，用氢氧化钠滴定液(0.05mol/L) 滴定。每1ml 氢氧化钠滴定液(0.05 mol/L) 相当于19.22mg 的C19H28O8。
