A series of experiments were performed to investigate the effect of length ratio of heating section to cooling section on the ultimate heat-transport capability of oscillating heat pipe(OHP),and to reveal the heat transfer performance of the heat pipes with five different length ratios of different fluid-filling ratios.

The results show that the unsteady area and heat transport ability of the diagram based on drift flux model are smaller than that of the diagram based on homogenous model.

The paper introduces the actual operating circumstance of Fushun--Yingkou oil product pipeline,and analyzes and discusses the maximum delivery capacity and optimally economic throughput of this pipeline.
