A study on coastal dune blowouts in east coast of Changle;

Studying on the formation and development origin of coastal dunes along the coastal area in the eastern part of Changle County,it is considered that the wind conditions,sand source and landform are the essential points of shaping up the coastal dunes in the surveyed area.

Research of coastal dunes has been paid a great attention to since 1980 in foreign countries and now is one of the most important international research regions.

The classification of coastal dunes is the most important basic problem in the research on the landscape of the wind drift sand in coastal region.

Quartz grain surface textures in coastal dune sand which is mainly derived from beach sand have features characteristic of both typical aeolian environment and inheritable and reformable beach sand.

Through the study of recent years, the Late Triassic coastal eolian dune deposits have been discovered from the De rirong Formation in Tulong, Nyalam County.
