陕西有个华山，山东也有华山。山东的华山地处济南市东北角，平地突起一峰，宛如利剑一把拔地而起，山南边有济南市规模最大的古建筑群——华阳宫，占地9万平方米，周围池塘遍地，古有华山湖，是典型的近郊型山水旅游场所。华山主要景点有华山、华阳宫、华阳湖等景点。华山历史悠久，历代文人骚客都曾登临此山。历史典故很多，流传最广的是这样一个：华山半山腰有一个吕祖庙，当年和尚下山担水，一只狼进去了，和尚担水进去后将门关住，狼饿急了就将和尚吃了，然而狼却出不了庙门，最终饿死在庙里。华阳宫的建筑什么年代建的谁也说不清，相传东汉刘秀讨饭到山脚下的郅家村，村中有个郅矮子收留了他，后来刘秀做了皇帝，娶郅矮子的妹妹为妻，郅家从此大富大贵，在山脚下广置院落，还出资兴建了华阳宫。华山附近有黄台大酒店、明湖大酒店分店等一批涉外酒店及小型饭店旅馆，购、娱等设施也很方便，华山炖鸡、炖鲤鱼香飘万里。景区北临济青高速公路、黄河公路大桥，西临大桥路，南临荷花路，70、71、16路公交车路过景区。
