In the tectonic hybrid rock belt located at the conjuncture of the middle Qilian Middle and Neo-Proterozoic passive margin and the Yemanabshan tectonic unit, a granet-amphibolite enclave was found for the first time.

Using the single zircon U-Pb technique,the authors have geochronologically investigated two glaucophane eclogites sampled from Gaoqiao and Chenjiadian in western dabie Mountain,which provide the age information of H P /L T (high pressure/low temperature)metamorphism and their Archean protolith.

In every eclogite zone there are abundant garnet amphibolites which look very like eclogites both in occurrence and minerals assemblage.
