| 扁蚜科 Hormaphididae；hormaphids 同翅目的一科。含3亚科30属171种。主要分布于东洋界，波及全世界。中国已知 21 属53种。主要分布于华东、华南、西南、华中等热带、亚热带地界，波及华北、东北。其中有22个中国特有种。该科蚜虫体长1.4～2.0毫米，体扁或稍隆起，有蜡孔或蜡片分布于体背、体缘甚至周缘 ，可分泌蜡粉或蜡丝。部分种类有外形与粉虱或蚧相似的不活动型，称为粉虱型或蚧型。头部与前胸相愈合，有些种类头、胸及第1～7腹节相愈合为前节，仅第8腹节独立。腹管环状，有些种类周围有毛。尾片瘤状至半月形。尾板末端微凹到深裂为两片。表皮光滑至粗糙有网纹或颗瘤。静止时翅平叠于背面。雄性蚜体小形，无翅，有喙，可取食，雌性蚜可产卵数粒。孤雌蚜卵胎生。本科蚜虫大都营同寄主全周期或不全周期生活。寄主植物为禾本科尤以竹类 、山毛榉科、安息香料、樟科、金缕梅科、菊科、杨柳科、棕榈科、姜科、檞寄生科及桦科。大都裸露生活，部分种类在虫瘿或畸形卷叶中生活。甘蔗粉角蚜是甘蔗的重要害虫。许多种类是竹类、林木和庭园观赏植物的重要害虫。 |
