In order to improve the understanding to the oil and gas reservoirs in west frontier of SINOPEC,some characteristics has been summarized from the logging presentation,the function of well logging in finding oil and gas reservoir,thin reservoir,low porosity reservoir and the test result of reservoirs,with some examples had been showed.
为提高对西部新区地下油气层的正确认识,笔者总结了录井显示、测井在油气发现中的作用、薄油气层、低孔油气层以及测试结果带给油气勘探者的一些认识,并列举了一些实例。

在实际地层中岩电参数比较复杂,为了有效评价储层含油性,求准含水饱和度参数,本文利用不同地层、不同岩性的低孔低渗储层砂岩进行岩电实验,根据实验结果阐述了岩电实验参数的应用意义和在实际生产中含水饱和度的确定方法。
