By using 40-yearly NCEP reanalysis daily grid data (1958～1997), we have analyzed the 40-yearly mean climatic characteristics of maintaining period of the South China Sea(SCS)(105～120oE, 5～20oN) summer monsoon pentad by pentad.

Clinical study on active phase with artificial rupture of fetal membranes plus intravenous injection with phloroglucinol;

Objective To observe the effect of continuous fetal heart monitor on fetal asphyxia during the active phase and the second stage of labor.

We believe the seism around the area is in the fourth active period,and the next moderate earthquake will probably happen in the Chaidamu area.

The result suggests that 5th seismic active period of NE China will be over in about 2008,and that the maximal earthquake intensity is about magnitude 6 in this active period.

According to the track study,the 5th seismic active period of NE china has been considerded to be the end.
