描述AcerL.槭属，槭树科，约200种，分布于北温带，主产地为我国和日本，我国有150种以上，广布于南北各省，但分布中心为中部或西部，有些种类的木材很有用，有些可为荫蔽树和观赏树，又为一很好的密源植物。美洲糖槭A.saccharumMarsh.所产的槭糖是由树干内流出的液汁蒸发后制成的。本属最易认识的特征为叶对，无托叶，小坚果两端各有延长而稍平伸或稍上举的翅1枚，对阅Aceraceae。
