性质:又称聚对苯二甲酸酯碳酸酯。由双(苯二甲酸双酚A酯)缩聚制得的无定形聚合物。热塑性树脂。综合性能介于聚碳酸酯(PC)和聚芳酯之间。相对密度1.20,玻璃化温度190C,透明度85%~90%。热变形温度139~163℃,较聚碳酸酯高10~30℃,较聚芳酯低12℃。PPC、PC和聚芳酯拉伸强度(MPa)分别为65.46、62.72、68.8,弯曲强度(MPa)97.12、86.14、75.75,冲击强度(J/m)14、16、5.5。由双酚A缩合生成双(苯二甲酸)双酚A酯后再缩聚制得。可用注塑、挤塑法成型。树脂加工前必须干燥。用途与聚碳酸酯、聚芳酯、聚砜相似,且较聚砜便宜。特别适用于蒸汽消毒的医疗器械及电子、汽车零部件。
